Termin

vor 6 Jahren

Hallo,

    Hi @lfcurchinsynwa,
would it be better for you to write/talk in English?

I already had a quick check on the fault report for your landline, as far as I could see, we first need to find out if your Speedport is the problem.
This is because the line is okay so far, the metering could reach the cable between your phone socket and the device, but the Speedport itself would not answer any request.

Is there any way for you to test another device?

    Kind regards
    Anna Si.

    Hallo @Anna J. ,

Thank you for your reply. I would appreciate it very much if we can talk in english. I do not have any other speedport routers/telekom routers or a landline telephone. Will any other routers work? I will reset the router and check if there are any defects in the cables and then reply to you.

    You're welcome, @lfcurchinsynwa!

Other routers will work as well, given the compatibility to your type of line, it doesn't need to be a Telekom device.
If it doesn't work either, I'll be here to find another solution.

    Kind regards
    Anna Si.

@Anna J. Hi, I checked the wirings and everythings seems ok, I also tried resetting the router and another dsl cable just to make sure the cable was not faulty but still only the status and WLAN LED are on. I tried using another router but unfortunately it had no DSL ports. Hope it helps.

    Here are some additional informations:

    Router: Speedport smart 3

    Firmware version: 010137.3.5.000.1

    UI version: 2.13.136

    DSL modem code version: 8.C.2.7.1.7_8.C.1.9.1.2

    Hi @lfcurchinsynwa,

thank you for the feedback. I was just about to set an appointment for a technician now, for a different router should at least have received a DSL signal.

A few minutes ago, I couldn't reach you on your mobile, would you tell me when else we can have a short chat on the phone?

    Kind regards,
    Anna Si.
