Constrant reconnections to DSL at new address

vor 2 Jahren

Hello,

I've moved to new address and changed my tariff, from M to L.

Every day Speedrouter disconnects several times, each time for a minute or so. Indicator blinks yellow. Afterwards it reconnects, but these reconnections interrupt my work.

Router firmware is up-to-date, and at previous address there were no such reconnections.

Should I call the support?

Many thanks.

Hello and thank you for reply.

I have Speedport Smart 4, with the latest firmware. I took it from my previous address, where it had under 10 connectivity losses for 10 months.

      Hello @Buktop80

      Do you use PowerLAN adapters?

      Which speed port is that?

What is in the system events?

Yes, you should. Or you could log into the Kundencenter website instead and initiate a line check there using the self-service option.

      Best wishes,

Right now I can't give you a timeframe.

Since the technician has flagged your ticket you should get updates.

      Kind regards

      Hi folks,

I am having same issue again, repeating loss of Internet connectivity, after almost a year. Is it possible to book technician visit? I hope it'd be easy to fix the problem now, since it was fixed before.

      With best regards!

      Hallo @Christina P.

      Thanks for your reply!

I received SMS with my Stoerung number, but I'm not sure when/how can visit of technician be arranged (I'm thinking I need one, as the issue is still happens regularily). What happens next?

      Best regards.

One more thing -- the issue became worse last couple of days, before it was 5-6 interruptions per day, today I had 5 interruptions within two hours, which makes my work very hard. So, please, can I have technician visit to look into communication equipment?

Thank you for the pleasant call @Buktop80,

so, as already said, the underlying issue, has been solved. So the line should be normal from now on. In other words: If any disturbance occurs on your line from now on, please write again, because it would be a new issue. Fröhlich

      Sincerely,

      Johannes
