Probably scammed
2 years ago
Hello,
Today 2 ladies claiming that they are Telekom Staff came into my house and said that Telekom is changing street internet wire therefore they need some confirmation from me and Telekom is incharge of O2 since I am O2 customer. She asked my IBAN NUMBER and I gave her my IBAN and German Ausweis and signed in their IPAD.
After, They have left, when I googled it I found that there are scammers who are convinced to sign the contract with Telekom. I wonder if I am scammed by them. If you have received any application on my behalf to change into Telekom then it's not me. I already have an O2 contract.
Please clarify this matter . I want to know whether they are legit or not?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
regards,
Purnima Chaudhary

@Purnima
After receiving the order confirmation, you can revoke the contract within 14 days.
This will come by post, or mail. Then revoke the contract immediately. https://www.telekom.de/hilfe/auftrag-erste-schritte/auftrags-und-lieferstatus/auftrag-oder-bestellung-widerrufen
