You tricked me with Magenta TV sbscription I never wanted

Long story short, a few months ago I was facing a problem with my DLS not working anymore, so I have called the support for there help, and they helped me to fix the problem. Afterward, they called me to verify if everything is working properly, and the support guy told me that because they caused me this problem they are going to give me three months to use Magenta TV for free. I agreed to that (unfortunately!). I forgot to check the invoice I am getting from Telkom for a couple of months, and yesterday after I got the latest invoice, I checked it and found that I am paying for this subscription for more than months.  

 

I did receive the Magenta receiver from Telekom a few months ago, it is still sealed, but I was busy to send it back to them. 

 

The main problem is, I didn't sign any contract with them for Magenta TV, they didn't discuss with me the contract terms, and I don't even know for how long the contract will last!

 

I tried to call the support but, wasn't able to reach them through the English support number I found 08003301080 

 

If any of you have another English speaking support number please share it with me. 

 

I want to cancel the Magenta TV contract as soon as possible, and want to get a refund for all the payment Telkom took from my account in the contract in the last few months.

      Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn, vor ein paar Monaten stand ich vor einem Problem, weil mein DLS nicht mehr funktionierte, also habe ich den Support um Hilfe gebeten, und sie haben mir geholfen, das Problem zu beheben. Danach riefen sie mich an, um zu überprüfen, ob alles einwandfrei funktioniert, und der Supportmitarbeiter sagte mir, dass sie mir drei Monate geben werden, um Magenta TV kostenlos zu nutzen, weil sie mir dieses Problem verursacht haben. Ich habe dem zugestimmt (leider!). Ich habe vergessen, die Rechnung zu prüfen, die ich von Telkom für ein paar Monate erhalte, und gestern, nachdem ich die letzte Rechnung erhalten habe, habe ich sie überprüft und festgestellt, dass ich für dieses Abonnement seit mehr als Monaten bezahle.

       

      Den Magenta-Empfänger habe ich vor einigen Monaten von der Telekom erhalten, er ist immer noch versiegelt, aber ich war damit beschäftigt, ihn an sie zurückzuschicken.

       

      Das Hauptproblem ist, dass ich mit ihnen keinen Vertrag für Magenta TV unterzeichnet habe, sie haben nicht mit mir die Vertragsbedingungen besprochen, und ich weiß nicht einmal, wie lange der Vertrag noch läuft!

       

      Ich habe versucht, den Support anzurufen, konnte ihn aber nicht über die englische Support-Nummer 08003301080 erreichen.

       

      Wenn jemand von Ihnen eine andere englischsprachige Supportnummer hat, teilen Sie sie mir bitte mit.

       

      Ich möchte den Vertrag mit Magenta TV so schnell wie möglich kündigen und möchte eine Rückerstattung aller Zahlungen erhalten, die Telkom in den letzten Monaten von meinem Konto im Vertrag genommen hat.

      Didn't you get an order confirmation?
      Because only what's in there is valid.
      From then on they had a 14-day objection period.

      Hi @FelixKruemel I knew that I made a mistake when I said yes, but it was too late!

      I checked my email for "Auftragsbestätigung", but I found only the origin contract for the DLS connection. I also keep all letters I receive via post, but I don't remember receiving any letter from Telekom regarding the Magenta TV except the "Lieferschein" letter with the Receiver package.

      I Hope the support team will understand my problem and they can help. I am really sure that they can check the usage of TV Magenta service, and they can find that I never used it and the receiver package still sealed.

      Hello @odeh2010,

      I am sorry it took so long for me to reply. I can assure you that it is not in our interest to trick our customers. I will gladly take a closer look into the current contract and the communcation between you an us. The first step is a short call to verify you as the contract owner.

      To make sure not to miss the term of notice, please do so no later than one month before the end of the minimum period, you're right about that date.

      Thank you for guiding me through the cancelation process!

       

      I did what you told me to, I canceled my subscription and I received a letter after a few days proving that. However, this morning I received an email that Telekom deducting money from my account for February (my subscription ended on the 27th of January). Can you check your system and tell me what just happen?
