Can't connect a prepaid card to meinmagenta account

How can I connect my prepaid card to the meinmagenta app account? I tried it using the app and active the prepaid sim, but that registration kept failing. Using the website I was able to active my prepaid sim, but it is not showing up in my account. How can I connect these together?
