Wrong Contract from what I was told by the Employee
vor 3 Jahren
Hi,
Last year a couple of employees from Telekom came to my house and said fiber optic connection was available and whether I wanted to switch. I am currently using Vodafone (1000mbits) and paying 50 euros for it. The Vodafone connection was ok with a few hour outages every few months. Telekom said they will be taking care of cancelling my contract with Vodafone. Today I got a letter from Telekom saying I have opted for MagentaTV Basic with 50Mbits. I only agreed to switch to Telekom because I was getting 500Mbits connection, not the 50 Mbits connection! What are my options here? Can I cancel the Telekom contract and go back to Vodafone? Please help!

Hi @whiteknight777
From receipt of the order confirmation you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Just use this if you can.
Sorry for my English, I use Google to translate.

Go to www.telekom.de/widerruf click on "Kontaktformular für Festnetz" and enter your personal details. You should find both Kundennummer (Customer number) and Auftragsnummer (order number) in the Auftragsbestätigung (order confirmation).
If you do this within the 14 days after you got the Auftragsbestätigung, the contract will be canceled.
After that, please contact Vodafone customer service to make sure, your contract with them will not be terminated!
Nota bene for the future: Do not order anything at the doorstep. Those people are not Telekom employees but work for some marketing company.

Good evening @whiteknight777.
That is weird. If you want to, I can take a closer look at this whole situation.
Please provide me your number where I can reach you in your profile here:

Please let me know as soon as you have added your number.
I look forward to your message and wish you a nice evening.
Kind regards,
Martin Bo.
