Speedport Smart - nur als Router verwenden

Hallo zusammen,

da bei mir kein kabelgeführtes und auch kein LTE -DSL funktioniert, habe ich einen SAT-DSL-Anschluss.

Bisher hatte ich eine Fritzbox, die, wie ich meine, WLAN-technisch etwas rumzickt.

Deshalb war mein Gedanke auf den Speedport Smart umzusteigen.

Bei der Fritzbox konnte ich das Modem separat ausschalten, sodass sie nur noch als WLAN-Router fungiert.

Das wollte ich nun auch mit Speedport machen.

Leider finde ich nur die Möglichkeit es umgekehrt zu machen, nämlich den Router auszuschalten und nur als Modem laufen zu lassen.

 

Kann der Speedport (entgegen der Aussage des Kundendienstes) das möglicherweise gar nicht, was ich möchte? Oder in welche Tiefen der Einstellungen muss ich abtauchen?

    Also, ich habe nun aufgegeben.

    Ich habe vom 14tägigen Rückgaberecht gebrauch gemacht und ihn zurückgeschickt.

    Er scheint tatsächlich nicht das zu tun, wofür ich ihn bestellt habe.

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator


We, Telekom Deutschland GmbH, use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our websites (only if you are using a supported internet connection provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each website).

The Utiq technology is privacy centric to give you choice and control.
