Speedport Smart 3 mittlerweile Online-Gaming tauglich?

Servus miteinander!

 

Nachdem ich nun den zweiten W925V im Einsatz habe und mittlerweile durch Belesen so schlau geworden bin, dass mir bekannt ist, dass es hier wohl ein generelles Problem beim Online-Gaming gibt, habe ich heute den Austausch zu einem Smart 3 veranlasst.

 

Nun musste ich aber lesen, dass dieser auf dem W925V aufbaut und es mit diesem wohl auch Probleme bzgl. des Online-Gaming gibt. Was ich aber auch gelesen habe ist, dass dies mittlerweile durch Firmware-Updates behoben wurde.

 

Kann das jemand bestätigen?

 

Ansonsten müsste ich hier nochmal bei der Hotline anrufen und einen Tausch auf den Smart 2 veranlassen, mit dem es wohl keine Probleme gab.

    Hallo nochmal,

    nachdem ich nun den Speedport Smart 3 im Einsatz hatte, kann ich sagen, dass er unser Problem definitiv NICHT gelöst hat.

    Da ich das Thema endlich los werden wollte, habe ich kurzerhand eine FritzBox 7530 bestellt. Die reicht für unseren Magenta XL von der Geschwindigkeit her aus.

    Was soll ich sagen? Das Gerät kam, wurde verkabelt, gestartet - war innerhalb von 10 Minuten eingerichtet, auf dem neuesten Firmware-Stand und funktioniert seitdem in allen Belangen tadellos.

    Weder der W925v, noch der Smart 3 haben das annähernd so gut hinbekommen. Der Speedport Hybrid war ähnlich gut, was die funktionale Seite angeht, unterstützte jedoch nicht die volle Bandbreite..

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
