Moving MagentaHome L DSL connection to new address in Berlin
2 years ago
Hi,
I am moving to a new address in Berlin on 1st December 2022.
Therefore, I want to transfer my DSL connection contract to my new address. If it is not possible, I would like to terminate the contract.
Kindly suggest me how I can do it.
Best regards,
Manish

@mk1195
You have to apply for a move to TKG and then see if the connection can be taken with you.
The first step is to check whether there is free capacity at your new address. If ports are free, the cross cable is full, etc.
You can apply for the move to TKG on the hotline 0800/3301000, or in a shop.
In principle, you can of course take the connection with you if all the requirements are met. If it is not possible, you can cancel every day in 30 days.

Hey @mk1195,
why does your landlord say there's a port missing?
Everything looks fine in our system.
Of course you can cancel the move.
But in that case you have to cancel it afterwards.
Many greetings

Hi,
Yeah, the port was there. However, wifi already exists there of a different distributor (Vodafone). Wouldn't it possible to terminate the 2 year contract of the Telekom (maybe with some fine)?
Best regards,
Manish

Hi @mk1195,
it seems to me that the contract was already cancelled. There is only the rent contract for the fiber hardware, which you can return to us using this link.
Kind regards

Hello @mk1195,
I just had a look at your contract and saw that the move to the new address has already been ordered. It's possible for you to take your DSL connection with you without a change of tariff.
Kind regards Inga Kristina J.
