Hello, I am moving out of my current apartment at the end of June, and a new tenant will move in from July. I will only move into my permanent new apartment in August. I will stay in temporary place in July.
Can you please confirm what will happen to my current internet connection during July, and whether the line in my current apartment can be released so the new tenant can install their own internet connection?
I would also like to know whether my existing contract can be moved to my new permanent apartment in August, or whether any cancellation or special relocation option applies.

That depends on you if this is about an eisting contract in your current appartment.
Normally one orders to move the contract to the new address without further alteration - according to German telecommunication law (cost is 70€, like for a new contract)
If this is not possible then you can decide whether to early terminate the contract - or if Telekom offers you a different solution to go or that.
In case you do not do anything with the contract in the current appartment then you will have both that old contract as well as a newly ordered contract for the new location.
