You've to contact Vodafone if the contract ist cancelled by Telekom. Vodafone should deliver Internet access 'til Telekom-connetion is established and functional.
The Modem, called as ONT , is your own choice to buy or rent.

@TayyabH What Switch are you talking about?
Typically the endpoint ist a fibreoptic MODEM (where you connect your Router) or a Router with a fibre Module inside.

small white box?
that's what the Telekom team keeps telling, a fiber optic switch. It looks like a small white box? But I don't have that so I can't connect my router to anything.
That sounds like they mean a Gf-TA. This schould be mounted from the Network owner. But the ONT schould be bought or rented from yourself.

It was finally possible to schedule the installation, and everything will be completed on November 9th.
You will receive the activation link on that day.
As promised, you will receive a refund for the Speedport Smart G.fast costs for the period up to November 9th.

Hi, this is frankly a bit ridiculous now. My fiber optic switch was supposed to be installed on 10 November but I got another email the appointment is cancelled. It has not even been rescheduled again. If this is the service before even the connection is installed, maybe it's better to just cancel the contract?
