TV BOX One Gen. 2 vs TV App Gen. 2

Hallo zusammen

 

Ich denke es ist nicht die erste Frage dieser Art, jedoch bekomme ich nicht zu 100% eine saubere Antwort.

 

Wir steigen vom alten Entertain, mit den Receivern 401 und 402 und 100 MBit um auf 250MBit und Megastream, also Magenta TV in der neuen Technik. 

Da wir noch die alten Receiver nutzen aber auch neue Smart TV haben, stelle ich mir die Frage, ob die neue Box One Gen. 2. nötig ist?

 

Was würde mir denn diese Box bringen? 

 

Bei den alten Receiver lagen die Vorteile auf der Hand.  Es gab dort zwar auch eine App Gen. 1. aber die war z.B. auf unserem TV langsam. Dann war ein Receiver der Hauptreceiver mit der Festplatte und im Schlafzimmer war der kleine, ohne Platte der sich alles vom Hauptreceiver, bei Bedarf holte. Das entfällt ja, da nun die Cloud für Aufnahmen vorhanden ist.

Gibt es dann noch einen Haupt und Nebenreceiver oder arbeitet dann jeder Receiver unabhängig mit meinem Telekom Account zusammen?

Unsere TV's sind von Samsung, Smart aus 2022 und 2020 und bieten beide die App für Gen. 2. an.

 

Habe ich mit der App Nachteile die mir diese Box dann bietet oder ist dann alles gleich.

    Deine Vorstellung ist verständlich,  aber falsch.

    Es gibt eben nicht "die App", sondern ein halbes Dutzend, und sie sind jeweils auf das Betriebssystem des Gerätes angepasst.

    TV ONE und die Sticks nutzen Android TV, Samsung hat aber Tizen, das ist was Propritäres. Und da hakt es eben oft.

    (LG hat webOS, auch was eigenes)

    Auch viele andere TV-Geräte haben Android TV. Deins eben nicht.

    Nicht ganz, Du hattest als Randbedingung "Samsung". Und genau darauf bezogen sich die Antworten.

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
