Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator

aktuell bringt der sender eh nichts. 1. teilt sich die sendergruppe diesen kanal 2. kommen vielleicht 5-6 ausstrahlungen im jahr in uhd. da ists bei RTL UHD mehr los, wenns auch nur GZSZ ist haha

Das wird wie früher hochskaliert sein, selbst bei Filmen. HD war dort auch nie echtes HD, wenn man den Vergleich zur Bluray hat. Das ist bei FreeTV höchstens ein Verkaufsargument. Bei PayTV und Co. dürfte es schärfer als die Realität sein, indbesondere bei B-Movies und Eigenproduktionen, insbesondere Serien.

Ein guter Hinweis und ich musste auch etwas stöbern, bin aber letzten Endes fündig geworden. Hier weisen wir darauf hin, dass ein MagentaTV Gerät genutzt werden sollte. 😊

Naja auf der Seite steht ein „MagentaTV Gerät“ oder die „MagentaTV App“.
Das halte ich für ausreichend unpräzise und ärgerlich.
Bleibt es dabei das UHD nicht auf einem Apple TV 4K geht?

Leider ja. Auf meinem AppleTV 4K läuft kein UHD. Auf der One die ich extra bestellt hatte läuft‘s... hoffe ja auf baldige Änderung.

Also wenn es so bleibt, ist es eine Frechheit. Es kann doch nicht sein, dass man keine uhd Inhalte ohne Telekom Hardware schauen kann, willkommen im 80 Jahrhundert. Einfach nur peinlich und beschämend wie man um jeden Preis Umsatz machen will. Man hat IPTV , aber nein, man soll wieder auf Hardware setzen.

Oh ok, gibt mal bitte einen Tipp welcher Anbieter in seiner App-Variante UHD-LiveTV anbietet. Ich schau mir immer gern Alternativen an.

Kollege,
die komische Magenta Box ist doch auch nur Android mit einer App drauf. Kannst Du drehen und wenden wie du willst, das ist Willkür der Telekom.
Und was die Beispiele angeht, ORF im Livestream / App bietet bei F1 und Fussball 4k.
Was mit aber nicht klar war bis eben, ist das die Signale trotzdem nur hochskaliert sind weil die UEFA gar keinen 4K stream anbietet.

@RoadrunnerDD was sollte es denn sonst sein. UHD ist das einzige Alleinstellungsmerkmal und das wurde künstlich herbeigeführt.
