Porting from SIMON mobile to Telekom is failing repeatedly

Hi,
I placed an order in the shop for porting my SIMON number to Telekom and adding it as additional card to my existing Magenta M flex contract. I received a message that porting failed but don't know the reason. After that I tried myself placing order for additional card from magenta app but as soon as I place the order, I receive sms that unable to port my number. I already have port in opted and terminated my contract as on 01.01.2026 from my current provider

So you leave me unsure which of the two variants you want to have
If there is a mismatch, then the order to port the number will fail
In the variant #1 you will have an overlap - the old contract still runs, however with a new phone number, and the new contract already starts with the hitherto phone number.
So what have you ordered at Telekom? If you go for #1 and have set the opt-in at SIMON then you should go for porting "asap" (means the Telekom option "zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt") also with Telekom.

The telekom shop selected variant 1 for that I received the message from Telekom that unable to port.
Then I tried variant 2 from magenta app. Also tried 02.01.2026 as the date. Even that also failed.

Even though I received the message that unable to port after I placed the order from the telekom shop, the order status is being shown as in progress in the magenta app. The order number for your reference is xxx.

You can still use the invitation E-Mail just to send an E-Mail to the number porting team. 🙂

I didn't receive any update after sending the email. Do you suggest me to raise another porting request through magenta app? Because my cancellation date from current provider is 01.01.2026 after that I don't want to be without my mobile number in case the porting is still pending.

You should have also received an SMS with a status update from the porting team.
