Wie lange darf ein Kabel zwischen Glasfasermodem und Router sein?

Das GF-Modem soll im Keller installiert werden, der WLAN-Router, bis jetzt ein Speedport Smart 3, steht aber im Dachgeschoss.

Das sind geschätzt minimum 12-15m.

Geht dass?

Und was für ein Kabel brauche ich da?

CAT 6, 7 oder 8?
