Trying to terminate account for permanent move to Alaska

Hello,

I am permanently moving to Alaska on April 26th and have military orders for this move. I am trying to get my home service (landline and DSL) and my mobile service terminated. I know I have a contract but because of moving, cannot pay after the 26th of April through my German bank account because I have to close it before I leave the country. I spoke with a customer service representative this morning and was told I can fill out a form and have both my home service AND cell phone service terminated within a week of submitting the paperwork so I can get everything paid before I leave. I cannot find the paperwork to do this. Would you please provide me this information? I have tried chatting (chat window closes before I speak with anyone), contact forms are not helpful, and I finally spoke with someone after being hung up on when I asked if they spoke English because my German sucks. Please help! Thank you!

      The request forms for termination of contracts due to moving abroad are available here. Fixed line can be terminated with 6 days notice, mobile with three months notice. You will need to provide proof that you are indeed moving abroad, military orders ("Marschbefehl") is explicitly mentioned as an accepted document, so you should be fine.

       

      DT always takes some time to terminate payment, you will usually continue to be billed for one or two months after the contract was terminated. A final invoice will then set the record straigt and any overpayment will be refunded. This process could run into a problem if your German bank account ceases to exist before the final invoice. Maybe the @telekomhilft team can help here, let's give them some time to arrive.

      I had submitted the documents through the contact forms and requested the 29th of May (submitted yesterday and 3 months from the request date) for the handy and received confirmation of termination but with the date being 21 July (contract end date) so not sure what's going on there, either. I would really like to make sure they get their money and will happily pay in advance, if possible. I hope the @telekomhilft team can provide some help as well.
