Telephone numbers

I was recently set up as a new Telekom landline user. In my account, I see there are 3 telephone numbers registered to me. Why are customers given 3 phone numbers? *confused*

If you only want to use one you can delete the others0

Because its included in your contract. U dont get charged additionally for it, so it doesnt matter

Thanks for all the replies. I was wondering how it works, though.
For example, I have one telephone (landline) and one phone number. Do the other two phone numbers ring on that phone if someone calls? How do other users use their 3 phone numbers?

Usually they are ringing too, unless you u changed that setting in your router.
Usually they dont use it either.
