Suche Gerät als reines DSL-Modem für neuen Magentaeins Vertrag

Hallo,

 

wir werden im Frühjahr einen neue MagentaEins Vertrag mit DSL 100 starten und brauchen ein reines DSL Modem für unseren Telekom Anschluss um dahinter mit unserer Unifi Hardware ein VPN betreiben zu können. Also ein Gerät, das rein als Bridge fungiert.

Der Telekom Standardrouter kommt nicht in Frage.

 

Was kann man da empfehlen?

    Ich kann den Draytek Vigor165 empfehlen, der kann dann auch SVDSL250 wenn ihr mal mehr wollt/könnt und läuft absolut klasse.

    Ich selbst hab jahrelang den Vorgänger 130 genommen bis ich dann Glasfaser bekommen hab.

     

    BZW hab grad gesehen dass es inzwischen auch den 167er gibt

    auch ich kann dir den Vigor165 empfehlen, nutze den selbst an einem SVDSL Anschjuss hier vor einer pfSense. Völlig problemlos.

     

    Der Nachfolger Vigor167 (nicht den 166!) kann mit der momentanen Firmware nur als Modem eingesetzt werden.

    Ich hab ja quasi das Gleiche zu Hause.

     

    Ich buche wohl den Speedport Smart 4 (Telefonat am Freitag 😉)

    - funktioniert im Bridgemodus und somit als Modem

    - fällt mein UniFi-System aus, übernimmt der Speedport den Notfallbetrieb (dann wieder als Router)

    - geht er kaputt, tauscht ihn die Telekom 

     

    Diese Vorteile sind mit dem Draytek Modem weg. Nachteile sehe ich nicht.

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator


We, Telekom Deutschland GmbH, use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our websites (only if you are using a supported internet connection provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each website).
