Subject: Urgent: Request to Void Contract due to Sales Fraud and Impersonation

I am writing to formally request the immediate cancellation of a fiber optic contract signed on December 2nd, 2025. I have filled in my order number and contact details in my private profile.

The contract was sold via a "Ranger" (doorstep agent) using unethical and illegal tactics:

  • Identity Fraud/Impersonation: The agent used my phone to call my current provider and pretended to be me on the call to initiate a contract termination without my full understanding. As a non-German speaker, it was framed that he was doing me a favour.

  • Coercion & False Claims: I was told I could be liable for an €800 fee in the future if I did not sign. This claim was used to pressure me into the agreement.

  • Misrepresentation of Service: I was promised fibre optic would be available in April 2026. It is now delayed until September 2026.

  • Financial Disadvantage: Because of the delay, I am expected to pay more for a standard connection I did not request.

I request a Telekom representative contact me in English (via phone and email) to confirm the full cancellation (Stornierung) of this order and all associated porting requests. I have the name and phone number of the "Ranger" available for your internal investigation.

      I request that you learn German if you are in Germany and if you sign an order most probably written in German. Also I can hardly believe that the Ranger employee*s English was good enough so that no misunderstandings came up.

      Ein bisschen freundlicher könnte man das schon formulieren? Mit 75% meiner Arbeitskollegen kann ich nur Englisch sprechen und das Team sitzt in Deutschland. Da fände ich es etwas unschön, wenn einer von denen die Telekom anspricht und dann sowas zu hören kriegt.

      Genau das dachte ich bei dder Formulierung des TE - und hab das deshalb 1:1 so geschrieben. Abgesehen davon ist das schon auch ziemlich arrogant vom TE - geh mal in die USA und verlange, dass jemand vom Kundenservice Dich auf Deutsch kontaktiert, die werden Dir was husten.
