Speedport smart 2 is not working

vor 4 Jahren

Dear Telekom team,

we are using a speedport smart 2 router for Wi-Fi. We are not using any phone at the moment. We recently changed our apartment and a technician visited us last week and started the WiFi at our new address. Everything was going fine but from yesterday the Internet is not working. I can see continuous white light on status as well as wlan. But the Internet is not working. I did the basic switch off and switch on as any layman does, but that did not help. So I read the blogs over here and there was a suggestion to do factory reset. So I did that also by pressing the reset button. Afterwards everything started and still there is no Internet. I am getting a statement to sign in to network. If I go there and enter the details it shows speedport status - no connection. If I further see the status information there is a problem in DSL link : incorrect warning unfortunately your speedport cannot establish a DSL connection. There seems to be a wiring problem. Check that your speedport is wired correctly.

I have done everything that is possible. But still the problem remains like that. Please help me. I need to do home office.

Hey, I have a Speedport Smart 2 from my Provider and I tried connecting the RX 500 to it. Worked without a problem, but then i found out that I can and probably should put the Speedport into bridge mode.

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator

We, Telekom Deutschland GmbH, use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our websites, listed here (only if you are using a supported internet connection provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each website).
