So I received an email saying I have a bill for 40 euros and I haven't been with Telecom for a couple years now. What due i do?

So as stated above I received an email from Telecom that I owed 40 euros in an email. Qhen I looked at what the bill is for all it said was for a landline bill and I've never had a labdline. Just a internet service and mobile phone number. I haven't been with Telecom for almost 3 years and have tried to get a hold of them by phone and email but no reply.

      Could it just be a fake mail / phishing attempt? Are there any personal details / customer ID included in the mail? (Don‘t share those here of course)

       

      Telekom bills usually are sent from 

      magentaservice.rechnungonline@telekom.de

      That  isn't Telekom.

      So it is a bad guy (phising oder other bad interessest), or it is another Telecom of another State, but not the Telekom of the Community here (Telekom hilft Community).

      Thank you for the link. I'm not sure if everything is settled. If there is a way to just email someone who could just send me a screen shot or something just so I can put my mind at ease that I don't have an outstanding charge in Germany that would be wonderful.

      And "sichere" speichere (save) the inputs, you done there.

      The Teamies can only look and maybe help in this problem, if there are the inputs in the fields i linked for you. Only you and the Teamies are able to read all, what you habe written there in the fields "Kundennummer" "Handynummer" and "Weitere Informationen".

       

      After you have filled and saved the dates, please note in "Antworten" here in the Thread, that you have done ist.
