Revoke internet contract before starting it

Hi

I requested a telekom internet contract a long time ago and the contract was supposed to start in March 2021, but in the meantime I moved to a different apartment and the new apartment already have internet, so I would like to request to revoke the contract, before starting it.

What is the process? Can someone assist me?

That's quite a complicated one...How did you do the request? In a shop? Then you cannot revoke it.Online or via phone? Then you have a 14-day-period of revoking it - starting with the date that you have received the order confirmation ('Auftragsbestätigung'). In case you ordered in a shop or if the 14-day period (online/phone) is already over you only have the right to move the contract to the new address (note: contract unchanged according to Telekommunikationsgesetz, you need to order the move via phone and refer to Telekommunikationsgesetz). If Telekom cannot deliver then you have the right to do an extraordinary cancellation of the contract, however you will need to pay at least a 3 months fee.
