Möchte altes 45 Jahre altes Telefonkabel ohne Erdung vom APL zur TAE Dose gegen CAT 7 Kabel austauschen,

Ich möchte mein altes Telefonkabel 45 Jahre alt gegen ein CAT 7 oder J-2Y (ST) Y Kabel austauschen.

Der APL ist auch so ALT  von der ersten Installation des Telefons.

Darf ich dieses , oder muss ich ein Techniker von Telekom beauftragen der mir das Kabel an dem APL und am Router (Stecker) anschliest.

Das Kabel würde ich selbst verlegen.

Wie Hoch würden sich die Kosten für den Techniker betragen.

    was versprichst Du Dir von dem Austausch?

     

    Das bei Dir verlegte Kabel ist für DSL besser geeignet als ein Cat 7 Kabel.

    Anschließen darf nur der Telekomtechniker.

    Du hättest den APL nicht mal selbst öffnen dürfen.

     

    Aber weg davon, der APL ist in Ordnung, es ist nichts oxydiert und auch das Kabel zu deiner TAE ist in Ordnung.

    Dieses Kabel wird auch heute noch verwendet.

    Es besteht kein Handlungsbedarf.

    an den APLDARF nur ein Telekom-Techniker! Der APL sieht ja noch gut aus, Alter ist da recht unwichtig, die alte Technik ist sogar oft den neueren Installationen überlegen. Auch nutzt du richtiges Telefonkabel, keine Baumarktware.

    Nutze Cat7-Verlegegabel und lege das an den Enden auf Netzwerkdosen (nicht auf RJ45-Stecker crimpen) auf. Eine Netzwerkdose in Nähe des APL , die Andere nahe dem Router. 1. TAE beim APL setzen lassen, TAE und Netzwerkdose mit dem DSL- Signaturkabel verbinden. Netzwerkdose beim Router mit einem Patchkabel mit dem verbinden. Saubere Lösung.

    Wozu? xDSL ist bei den elektrischen Werten wie Impedanz & Co. auf Telefonkabel abgestimmt, nicht auf Netzwerkkabel. Gerade das (in diesem Fall nicht höherwertige) Cat-7 Kabel kann hier eher zu Verschlechterungen führen.

    Ich finde ja auch, das eine Änderung da gar nicht nötig ist, aber wenn man da was Neues legen will, dann sollte man da ggf. vorausschauend agieren, vielleicht kommt ja mal ein Glasfasermoden ins Haus.

    Ich weiß, das Cat7 eine höhere Dämpfung bei den verwendeten Frequenzen als Telefonkabel hat, aber das ist wirklich eher marginal als das eine Verwendung wirklich Nachteile bringt.
