Leaving Germany, do I need to return router?

Hello,
I am leaving Germany soon and so will be cancelling my internet contract with Telekom. With this contract I received a router, I'm guessing I need to return this router when I leave, but I'm not sure how.
Do I need to return this router? and if so, how do I get a box to return it in? Is it possible to drop it off in person?

Sure.

You have to find one yourself if you did not keep the one the router came in.
Is it possible to drop it off in person?
I don't think so. But you can easily grab the necessary QR code at https://retoure.telekom-dienste.de/miete/ and drop off the parcel at any nearby DHL shop.
