DSL internet connection keeps dropping

vor 4 Monaten

Hello Telekom community,

I hope it is okay that I post in English.

Recently my MagentaZuhause XL DSL internet tariff was activated.  My DSL line is connected to a brand new FRITZ!Box 7530 AX.

Since activation, the DSL connection drops regularly (up to multiple times times per hour).  The DSL light on the router begins flashing, and internet connectivity is lost.  This is not a problem with the WLAN...the router's WLAN light stays illuminated and my devices maintain connection to the network (just without internet).  When the connection is restored, the internet works as expected until the next drop.

I have already attempted the automated check/reset recommended here, but the connection continues to drop.

Any suggestions for what could cause such an unstable connection?

Best regards,

T. Kutz

      @TylerK

      You must report the fault to 08003301000. The problem is with your line. Because you now have a higher bandwidth than before, your connection is more sensitive to interference on your line. A technician must look at this and measure your line from your telephone socket to the Telekom DSLAM. Do you use PowerLAN PLC ?

      Thanks for the reply.  I will report this to the phone number you provided.
      I am not using any PLC devices.
