Airties 4920: Switch anschließen?

Hallo,

 

ich überlege mir, die WLAN-Abdeckung meines Hauses mit den Airties 4920 abzudecken. Den ersten Airties würde gerne an zentraler Stelle mit dem LAN-Kabel mit dem Speedport Smart verbinden. An gleicher Stelle stehen noch zwei zusätzliche Geräte, die ich gerne per LAN-Kabel verbinden möchte. Ein LAN-Anschluss vom Airties ist ja nun schon belegt, kann ich an den zweiten einen Switch oder alten Router als Switch-Ersatz (TP-Link Archer C 50 mit den entsprechenden Einstellungen), um die Geräte mit dem Netzwerk per Kabel zu verbinden?

    Hallo,

     

    kurze Rückmeldung: Ich habe die Airties jetzt am Laufen. Die Einrichtung via Browser ist über die Adresse air4920.local (die in der Kurzanleitung nicht erwähnt wird) problemlos möglich, wenngleich sie für Plug and Play-User via App intuitiver ist. Da ich derzeit kein Entertain nutze, verwende ich jetzt als Switch einen neuen TP-Link TL-SG1005D, auch dies problemlos. Wenn man Entertain hinter einem Switch nutzen möchte, sollte man für einen reibungslosen Betrieb wohl den D-Link DGS-1008D verwenden, den man direkt bei der Telekom bekommt, da diese wohl eine dafür bestimmte Revisions-Variante (1.4) ausliefert.

    Nach dem heut ein netter Techniker mit Ahnung da war, musste ich meine Powerlines rausschmeissen. Techniker empfahl die Airties. Da mein Router (FritzBox 7490) im Keller sitzt und auch eine Telefonanlage dran hängt war der Vorschlag den Router mit nem neuen Kabel und TAE Dose ins EG zu setzen. Also bohren, Kabel legen und Dreck. Hab da ich eh bohren musste die Fritzi mit Netzkabel an einen Switch, von da an die Airtie 1 und Airtie 2 (über WLAN) ins DG. 1 Fernseher läuft über Netzkabel von Switch aus, 2. FS über Airtie im DG. Bis jetzt funzt es und alle Etagen haben guten WLAN Empfang.

    Man kommt also mit 2 Airties und Switch aus.

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
