Warum geht SSL nicht mehr im Android mail client?

Habe heute festgestellt, dass weder mein Tablet (Android 4.1.2) soch mein Galaxy Smartphone (android 4.2.2) noch auch meinen Mail Account zugreifen können.

Erst nachdem ich die Verschlüsselung von SSL auf SSL(Alle Zertifikate akzeptieren) umgestellt haben ging es wieder. Ist das jetzt unsicherer?
