Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
We, Telekom Deutschland GmbH, use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our websites, listed here (only if you are using a supported internet connection provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each website).

Habe mein MagentaTV Vertrag erneuert und möchte meine MediaReceiver 401 und 201 zurückschicken und statt dessen meine Apple TV 4K zum streamen nutzen. Funktioniert leider nicht. Login schlägt fehl, ich werde aufgefordert einen Vertrag zu buchen, den ich ja habe. Was läuft verkehrt?

Dann hast du scheinbar nicht den Tarif. Du brauchst mindestens den Magenta TV

MagentaTV Entertain ist also kein Magenta TV 2.0 Tarif und kann auch kein Streaming über ATV?
Dann müßte ich den widerrufen!
Wie komme ich zu so einem Tarif? Der oben benannte wurde mir ja von der Telekom angeboten.
Bekomme ich die falschen Tarife weil ich den Receiver 401 nutze?
Fragen über Fragen, oder ist es ein Mißverständnis und der neu gebuchte Tarif doch steamingfähig?

Nein alles gut, du kannst MagentaTV Entertain mit AppleTV nutzen und du kannst es mit dem Receiver nutzen.
Es ist aber kein MagentaTV 2.0, das würde auch nur mit AppleTV aber nicht mit dem Receiver gehen.

Ok, danke. Trotzdem nochmal, ich will mich ja von den Receivern 401 und 201 trennen. Ist ein MagentaTV 2.0 Vertrag zukunftsfähiger und warum beinhaltet ein aktueller
Vertrag nicht MagentaTV 2.0? Warum bietet man mir aktuell nur ein MagentaTV Vertrag an, der ev. schon bald wieder veraltet ist und bestimmte Optionen nicht mehr bietet. Oder andersherum: Wie komme ich zu einem Magenta 2.0 Vertrag. Oder ist der nur verfügbar wenn man MagentaTV ohne Internet buchen will? Ich will etwas zukunftsfähiges (immerhin binde ich mich für 24 Monate) und keine Telekomhardware in Zukunft. Und dafür den richtigen Vertrag.

Du brauchst für das Apple TV 4K einen Vertrag, der auch die Nutzung von MagentaTV via App beinhaltet. MagentaTV Basic oder MagentaTV Smart sollte im Vertragsnamen vorkommen.

Ok, meine Vertrag ist von 2019, dann ist er offensichtlich zu alt. Danke für die Infos, ich sehe jetzt klarer.

MagentaTV 2.0 ist derzeit noch eher als Beta-Phase zu betrachten. Gib dem noch ein paar Monate, dann gibt es auch mehr Tarife.
Du zB hast jetzt Disney+ in deinem Tarif, so was gibt es im Paket bei den MagentaTV 2.0 noch nicht.

OK, also alles richtig gemacht und dann warte ich mal bis zum 5.12.23 und schicke erst danach die Receiver zurück.

Denk dran:
Die Aufnahmen auf deinem Receiver sind auf alle Fälle dann weg, wenn also noch was wichtiges drauf ist was du noch nicht gesehen hast unbedingt noch anschauen.

im Verlauf wurde schon einiges an Unterstützung veröffentlicht - vielen Dank hierfür.
Aktuell ist bis zum Dezember 2023 tatsächlich noch etwas Geduld gefragt.
