Guten Morgen,

 

hat schon mal jemand den Stromverbrauch der Magenta TV Box ohne WLAN ( also WLAN deaktiviert ) gemessen?

Anschaltung wird dann per LAN erfolgen.

Der Stromverbrauch laut technischen Daten / Anleitung ist mir bekannt. ( kleiner 8 W )

Meine Hoffnung ist jedoch einen Stromverbrauch Richtung 1 W zu erreichen, wenn man auf Komfortfunktionen verzichtet.

    Wenn es dir "um Umwelt und so" geht, dann verzichte besser auf Streamingdienste oder IP-TV.

    Am umweltschonendsten ist der Empfang über Sat.

     

    Ich habe keine TV-Box, aber kenne die Leistungdaten meiner Technik recht gut - die Deaktivierung eines 802.11n-WLAN-Moduls spart ca. 0,2 Watt im Standby. Bei einer voll unter Dampf stehenden WLAN-Verbindung erhöht sich der Bedarf eines meiner Dual-WLAN AccessPoints von 2,1 auf 4,4 Watt.

    Das sollte hier keine Diskussion zum Thema "wie ökologisch ist Streaming" werden.

    Aber der Wunsch, dass ein Gerät bei Nichtbenutzung möglichst wenig verbraucht, ist doch nicht so abwegig oder?

    Daher nur die Frage, ob hier jemand schonmal die Box in solch einer Konfiguration gemessen hat.

    Vielen Dank für deinen Beitrag.

     

    Am besten kann man Strom sparen, wenn man eine schaltbare Steckdosenleiste zum Ausschalten des ganzen TV Systems nutzt. 

     

    Mache ich zwar nicht, aber viele...

    Das Problem leider ist. Desto mehr Strom von jeden gespart wird,desto teurer wird er. Klingt komisch ist aber leider so.
