Transfer my number to Telekom from Lebara

Hello Community,
Last month I canceled my prepaid sim contract with Lebara because I left Germany for 5 months and after that I will be back.
Back then I didn't know that I would lose my mobile number after cancelling the contract. Now I have the option to either switch to another provider or give up my number. Now I want to switch to Telekom but I have few problems:
- I don't have any house address in Germany since I am not living there now so while booking the sim card online it asks for a home address to deliver the Sim card/eSim card.
- I can give one of my friends address but then the online verification of my ID card fails because it has my old address.
I really want to keep this number as I've been using it for almost a year now. I am even okay with transferring the ownership of this number to one of my friends who are in Germany but think even this requires me to be physically present in Germany but I can't go back during the mean time. What should I do in this situation?
