No network after placing "replace esim" to another device order.

vor 2 Jahren

I wanted to transfer my esim from Google pixel 4a device to my new device iPhone 14 device.
Steps I followed:

  • Logged in to Customer center
  • Placed an order from esim to esim for  "device change"
  • Confirmed "Place Order"
  • Now, trying to go to settings of my SIM card to get the new esim profile but it is asking for mTAN .
  • Problem: No network coverage on my existing device after placing the order and hence not able to receive mTAN and not able to transfer esim from one device to another.

Hello and good morning, @swapnildubey.7 .

Thank you for your message. Please restart your old smartphone, connect to the WLAN and then set up the eSIM via the Pixel settings. Then you have a new profile on your old phone. Zwinkernd Then please give me a sign and I'll call you to make the switch with you. What do you think about?

      Kind regards

      Carolin L.

Actually, it should have definitely worked - but well. Many thanks for your support, @swapnildubey.7 . Fröhlich

We are then now stuck on the problem of legitimation.

      I have three ideas:

      1) Can you please register in your customer center and enter an alternative callback number under the contact details. Then I can call you about it.

      2) I can send the new eSIM profile as a QR code by post.

      3) You visit our colleagues in the local telekom shop and have a new profile set up on your iPhone. Fröhlich What do we want to do?

      Kind regards

      Carolin L.
