Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
We, Telekom Deutschland GmbH, use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our websites, listed here (only if you are using a supported internet connection provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each website).
The Utiq technology is privacy centric to give you choice and control.
It uses an identifier created by your telecom operator based on your IP address and a telecom reference such as your telecom account (e.g., mobile number).
The identifier is assigned to the internet connection, so anyone connecting their device and consenting to the Utiq technology will receive the same identifier. Typically:
- on a broadband connection (e.g., Wi-Fi), the marketing or analytics will be performed based on the browsing activities of consenting household members’.
- on mobile data, the marketing will be more personalised, as it will be based on the browsing of the individual mobile user only.
By consenting, you confirm that you have permission from the telecom account holder to enable the Utiq technology on this internet connection.
You can withdraw this consent anytime via "Manage Utiq" at the bottom of this site or in Utiq’s privacy portal (“consenthub”). For more, see Utiq's privacy statement.

Hello @Skripter888

How can I change my SIM card format?
In a few minutes you can change your SIM card format from the "classic" SIM card to eSIM and vice versa.
Please log in to your customer center and then proceed as follows:
Contract details > My SIMs > Settings > Security check > Replace SIM > Change SIM card type > Next > Make SIM selection > now please follow the further instructions Note: For the security check authentication via an SMS code ( mTAN ) is required. The SMS can only be sent to a mobile phone number that belongs to your contract account - i.e. if you see several mobile phone contracts in your customer center. If you do not have another number to choose from, please contact our customer service.

OMG Marcel, you’re my savior! 👏👏👏 Tell me where can I rate you elsewhere different from this forum and I will rate you as high as I can.
wow, mate, just wow😯😍👏!!!
You don’t know how much I’ve been struggling with this all this afternoon… I firstly saw all the available carriers yesterday and today went to buy the Telekom.de SIM card, expecting it to be easy. Although I tried in the app first I couldn’t see nothing there, after which I called the customer service and asked, but the guy firmly told me that it was not possible to get an eSim with Magenta Plans, after which I really got stuck. Then I went and bought other carriers’ sims and tried, but it was not possible either and some asked me to wait few days for a letter.
i had really desisted until I gave a last opportunity to myself to come to the forum to see if someone had replied me, and then I read yours. I went again to the app and obviously didn’t see nothing again, but then I’ve said to myself “hey, try step by step EXACTLY as Marcel has said, let’s see if it works”. and then…. Boom! Haha it worked. It was “so easy”, yet a little bit challenging and hidden into the “woods”, but thanks to your concrete and detailed explanation I was able to FINALLY accomplish the “early desisted” mission 😂🙏🏻
Big big thanks to you for replying me in English (sorry, just came to Berlin 4 days ago and started my German classes today)! It is a real bless to have a community like this (others really don’t have such thing).
god bless you Marcel! It worked, mate!👌🙏🏻❤️

What is a prepaid ESIM?
An ESIM is not only available for term contracts. An ESIM is also possible for a prepaid tariff. This is particularly advantageous for people who want to remain flexible. Just charge as much credit as you need.
If you want to use a prepaid ESIM, you can first get a commercially available prepaid SIM in a Telekom shop near you and activate it. After activating your prepaid card, contact Telekom customer service, which provides you with a code for activation of your ESIM. Use a prepaid tariff at Telekom with a physical SIM card and want to switch to an ESIM, first log in to the customer center to apply for the prepaid ESIM for your smartphone.
