Upload verschlüsselter Dateien zu langsam

vor 2 Jahren

Hallo, während der "normale" Upload fast mit meiner tariflichen und technischen Höchstgeschwindigkeit ~ 34MBit/s funktioniert, läuft der Upload bei Telekom-verschlüsselten Dateien/Ordnern mit rund nur 30KBit/s, also 1000x langsamer ab. Das macht ja so dann keinen Sinn mehr.
Gibt es ähnliche Erfahrungen? Und ... gibt es dazu Erklärungen/Lösungen (geplant)?

    Das Problem kannst du vermutlich umgehen, indem du selbst vor dem Hochladen lokal verschlüsselst.  Zum Beispiel mit Cryptomator - Free Cloud Encryption for Dropbox & Co.

    Hallo Thomas,

    ich verschlüssel schon mit CryptSync (Cryptomator gefällt mir persönlich nicht so gut) andere Ordner (Upload-Speed hier super), aber gerade die Telekom-eigene-Verschlüsselung hätte mir Boxcryptor ersetzen können (Ende-zu-Ende halt).

    Ja, ich verschlüssele lokal unabhängig mit drei verschiedenen kryptographischen Algorithmen, u.a. Rabbit und Dragon.

    Allerdings mit Hilfe eines Skriptes; man muß dazu in gewissem Maße Experte sein.

    Beispielsweise erzeuge ich  vor dem Verschlüsseln Prüfsummen mit dem modernsten Keccak-Algorithmus.

    Danke für die Tipps - ich brauche es aber auch etwas einfacher für die Familie. Ich schaue  mir noch mal Cryptomator an, denn die haben auch eine Android-App.

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
