MagentaCloud WIndows App nach Update CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess.exe ??

Nach dem letzten Update der MagentaCloud App auf Windows 10 möchte jetzt auf einmal "CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess.exe" ins Internet und wird vorerst durch meine Firewall blockiert.

 

Was macht CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess.exe genau und wofür wird sie bei der MagentaCloud App benötigt?

Bisher ging es ja auch ohne. Zwinkernd

 

Kann ich die Datei weiterhin in der Firewall blockieren?
Oder wird die zwingend für die App benötigt. Wenn ja, wofür genau?

      woher weißt du überhaupt, dass diese Datei was mit der Magenta Cloud zu tun hat?

      In einem Hinweise ergibt sich eine Zugehörigkeit zur Amazon Cloud Drive, geht am ehesten noch in deine Richtung.

      Wenn du danach googlest gehört sie ursprünglich zu einer alten AOL Software.

      Weil die EXE im Magentacloud Ordner liegt.

      Am Datum und Uhrzeit ist gleichzeitig auch MagentaCloudApp.exe angefasst worden.

      Somit sieht es aus, als ob am 19.10. das mit installiert wurde.

      Weil vorher bekam ich diese Firewallmeldung nicht.

      MagentCloud ist bei mir Version 6.2.0.34.

      Hallo @dbm75,

      nach unserem Kenntnisstand hat die Datei nichts mit Der MagentaCloud App zu tun.
      Aber wir fragen gerne bei den Produktbetreuern nach.

      Kommt definitiv bei der MC Installation mit.

      Wie im Screenshot zu sehen.

      Frisch runtergeladene MC Installation.EXE gestartet. Dort das MSI Paket extrahiert und in der dort enthaltenen Data1.cab sind die entsprechenden Dateien bei.

       

      Wäre aber super, wenn man eine Aussage bekommt, wozu dieser "Dienst" gut ist.
      Ist wie gesagt vorher nie aufgepoppt, dass da vom PC etwas in Richtung Router möchte. Zumal nur unsecure HTTP Port 80.

      folgende Antwort haben wir bekommen:

      was genau die Datei macht, können wir nicht beantworten. Fakt ist: Die Datei gehört zur MagentaCLOUD Software und wird benötigt.
