Hallo! Wir haben den Vertrag Magenta Zuhause XS. Mein Betriebssystem ist Ubuntu 20.04. Es gelang mir, die Magentacloud per webdav einzubinden, aber mir gelingt es nicht, die automatische Synchronisation zwischen der Festplatte und der Cloud einzurichten. Dazu benötige ich Hilfe bitte. Vielen Dank schon mal.

      Also wenn ich dich richtig verstehe, wird die MagentaCloud dann nur als Backup genutzt fürs System, richtig?

      Denn ansonsten arbeitet man ja quasie eh direkt auf der Cloud.

       

      Für einfache Backupzwecke empfehle ich selbst, auf ein einfaches rsync.Kommando zurück zu greifen.

      Damit kannst du wunderbar alles syncronisieren, wahlweise mit entfernte Dateien löschen oder nur neue ergänzen usw...

      Nutze Ich auch seit Jahren für Backups von Servern.

      Also ist meine Vermutung - bzw. das, was ich glaubte schon herausgefunden zu haben - richtig: Mit der S-Version ist eine automatische Synchronisierung nicht möglich. Stimmt das?

      Warum sollte das denn nicht gehen? Du brauchst doch dafür kein rsync. Hast du denn die cloud schon eingebunden wie beschrieben ?

      Du hast erwähnt, dass Ubuntu Linux 20.04 benutzt wird. Wenn du curl bzw. cadaver ggf. in Verbindung mit WebDAV in die Suchmaschine deines Vertrauens eingibst, wirst du auf Lösungen stoßen, mit denen du eine Synchronisation zwischen deinem PC und der Cloud realisieren kannst.

      Ich habe das Problem gelöst, weiß aber gar nicht so richtig, wie. Jedenfalls werden Festplatte und MagentaCloud mit rsync synchronisiert.
