Welche Router gibt es?

Ich habe seit heute eine Telekom-VDSL-Leitung (250/40).

 

Ich habe 2 Router da, bin aber nicht ganz zufrieden, da beide Geräte Bufferbloat verursachen und das nicht unerheblich.

 

1.) Speedport Pro Plus (Bufferbloat deutlich besser als mit der FritzBox aber kaum Einstellungmöglichkeiten)

2.) FritzBox 7590 AX (bin damit überhaupt nicht zufrieden)

 

Welche Router gibt es noch von der Telekom zu mieten? Laut Mitarbeiterin werden nicht alle Geräte auf der Seite angezeigt. Ich hätte gerne so funktionen wie z.B. QoS .

    Außer der Fritzbox werden eigentlich alle Router angezeigt.

    In Ihrem Fall würde ich, wenn ich nicht mit der FritzBox zufrieden bin auf den Speedport Smart 4 umsteigen.

    @TeilzeitRektor Eigentlich keiner. Der Speedport Pro Plus hat noch LTE integriert. Das nutzt dir aber nur was mit dem entsprechenden Mobilfunktarif.

    Hier https://youtu.be/RTe-ZOmTiik wird von AVM der Bufferbloat erklärt und wie sie damit umgeht. Nämlich automatisch ohne Einstellungsmöglichkeiten durch den Anwender. Und so verhält es sich mit den Consumer-Routern der Telekom ebenso.

    Bufferbloat kann aber auch hinter dem Router entstehen. Auch erklärt im Video.

    Ich habe mir jetzt ein Asus DSL-AX82U bestellt und werde testen.

     

    Den Bufferbloat auf meiner 1GB Kabelleitung (1100 MBit) konnte ich problemlos mit einem guten Router (FritzBox 6690) auf 0ms bringen.

     

    Die FritzBox 7590 (AX) hat extreme Probleme mit Bufferbloat im Upload von 200 bis 600ms. Darüber berichten Menschen auf der ganzen Welt.

     

    Mit dem Speedport Pro Plus ist es deutlich besser als mit dem 7590 (AX), aber auch nicht perfekt.

     

    Mal schauen wie es mit dem Asus wird.

Passwort, WLAN-Name und WLAN-Schlüssel wurden nach Austausch des Routers vom alten (defekten) Router übernommen. Welche Erklärung gibt es dafür?.

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
