Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
We, Telekom Deutschland GmbH, use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our websites, listed here (only if you are using a supported internet connection provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each website).
The Utiq technology is privacy centric to give you choice and control.

@Hans 2018Nimm das nicht das kann zu Störungen führen und ja keine Verlängerungs Kabeltromel die noch in den Elektroschrottkontainern rumliegen. Signaturkabel gibt es bis 20m

Ich weiß ja auch nicht weshalb es das Original-Telekom-Kabel bei amazon für Prime-Kunden über 10 Euro günstiger gibt als direkt bei der Telekom

Du wirst Antworten u.a. von mir von früher finden, dass das problemlos geht mit einem analogen Telefon-Verlängerungskabel.
Seit Vectoring eingesetzt wird empfehle ich das nicht mehr.
Falls Du "nur" einen MagentaZuhause S beauftragt hast, dann kannst Du das zwar so wie früher probieren/machen. Aber dann wirst Du irgendwann doch auf VDSL umsteigen und damit ziemlich sicher Vectoring erben - und dann wirst Du Dich auf Fehlersuche begeben. Deshalb: lieber ein vorkonfektioniertes IP-Anschlusskabel der richtigen Länge anschaffen.

Ich habe Tarif Magenta Zuhause L. Habe noch ein neues TAF Verl.Kabel.

kannst du probieren, da es aber wahrscheinlich kein Signaturkabel ist, kann die Telekom
bei einer Störung deine Leitung nicht messen.
Ansonsten wird es aber funktionieren.

Verlängerung würde ich keine nehmen, statt dessen ein längeres Signaturkabel , damit man auch noch Messungen machen kann und es so wenig wie möglich Störungen gibt.
Die Telekom hat sogar längere DSL-Kabel wegen den Hybridroutern, da die ja noch wegen ihrem LTE -Anteil ihre Antennen ausgerichtet bzw. aufgestellt werden müssen. https://www.telekom.de/zuhause/geraete-und-zubehoer/zubehoer/anschlusszubehoer/dsl-kabel-20-m
Die kann man auch an anderen (V)DSL-Anschlüssen verwenden.
