Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
We, Telekom Deutschland GmbH, use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our websites, listed here (only if you are using a supported internet connection provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each website).

Das WLAN des Routers kann weiter aktiv sein.
Sie können für die Speed Home Wifi das selbe WLAN Passwort nutzen wie für das WLAN des Routers.

Wie gut WLAN funktioniert, kann nur vor Ort ausprobiert werden. Ich habe einen MR 401 und einen Rechner über Speed Home Wifis mit dem Router verbunden.

Ok also kann ich es nur ausprobieren. Innerhalb der 14 tage kann man es ja wieder zurück schicken.

Die Passwörter müssen nicht geändert werden, allerdings würde ich das WLAN des smart 2 abschalten. Verbindet sich nämlich ein client mit dem WLAN des smart 2, dann wird er durch das mesh-System nicht weitergereicht.

Falls gemietet: Du könntest einfach auf den Smart 3 umsteigen und bräuchtest dann nur einen SpeedHome WiFi. Bzw. mit einem Zweier-Set könntest Du die Wohnung dann noch besser ausleuchten/versorgen.

Ist gemietet aber kann erst nächstes Jahr im Januar wechseln. Hab schon angerufen. Hätte auch lieber den smart 3 gehabt.

Stimmt so nicht ganz.
Wenn Du noch 10 Monate Mindestmietdauer hast, dann kannst Du den Mietvertrag auch heute schon kündigen. Dafür bekommst Du eine Schadenersatzzahlung von etwa 25 Euro aufgebrummt - das ist deutlich günstier als eine zweiteSpeedHome Wifi Disk.

Für wie viele Geräte wollten die 100 Euro als Schadenersatz?
Bei einem Speedport kommen 100 Euro Schadenersatz möglicherweise zusammen, wenn Du den Mietvertrag kündigst und dann den Router nicht zurückschickst.
Aber wenn Du den Mietvertrag vorzeitig kündigst und flugs den Speedport zurückschickst dann beträgt der Schadenersatz für einen Speedport Smart MAXIMAL 30 Euro.
