Smart 3: Zusätzlicher Accesspoint ohne SSID im 5 GHz WLAN

Hallo,

ich besitze seit wenigen Tagen einen "speedport smart 3", mit dem ich, v. a. wegen seiner großen WLAN-Reichweite, sehr zufrieden bin.

Aktiviert sind WLAN im 2,4 GHz- und 5 GHz-Bereich mit unterschiedlicher SSID . Neben diesen beiden access points sehe ich in Programmen wie wifi Analyzer ein verstecktes Netzwerk ohne SSID im 5 GHz-Netz, welches von meinem Router stammt (gleicher Kanal, gleicher Hersteller, gleiche Feldstärke, fast identische Mac-Adresse).

    Hallo @Gelöschter Nutzer,

     

    wir haben jetzt eine Rückmeldung durch die Kollegen.

     

    Durch das Aussenden der zusätzliche SSID ändert sich die Leistungsaufnahme des Routers nicht. Die zusätzliche SSID wird benötigt um eine Mesh-Aushandlung zu ermöglichen, läuft aber auf dem gleichen WLAN-Chipsatz wie das private WLAN-Netzwerk (oder das Gäste-WLAN).

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator


We, Telekom Deutschland GmbH, use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our websites, listed here (only if you are using a supported internet connection provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each website).
