Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
We, Telekom Deutschland GmbH, use the Utiq technology for digital marketing or analytics (as described on this consent notice) based on your browsing activity across our websites, listed here (only if you are using a supported internet connection provided by a participating telecom operator and consent on each website).
The Utiq technology is privacy centric to give you choice and control.

herzlich willkommen in der Telekom hilft Community.
Leider habe ich keine Homebox zum Testen hier, laut der Antwort von wari1957 und einer Antwort im Thread https://telekomhilft.telekom.de/t5/Geraete-Zubehoer/O2-Homebox-6641-MagentaL/m-p/3005455#M357802 zu einer anderen Homebox, soll das aber leider nicht funktionieren.
Da wird es dann wohl an der Software und der fehlenden Möglichkeit, Telekom-Zugangsdaten einzutragen, scheitern.
Es gibt aber eine Vielzahl anderer Router, die mit deinem zukünftigen Anschluss kompatibel sind, beliebte Modelle für den Heimgebrauch stammen z. B. aus der Speedport- oder FRITZ!Box-Serie.

Wenn ich nur Wlan und ein Telefon mit normalem Telefonstecker verwenden möchte ist wohl die Fritzbox 7530 die beste Wahl oder?

ob die 7530 die beste Wahl ist, ist natürlich Ansichtssache, es gibt immer Router, die mehr können und Ihre Vorteile und Fans haben.

In meinen Augen ist die 7530 aber ein solider Router und laut Hersteller auch kompatibel: https://avm.de/service/fritzbox/fritzbox-7530/wissensdatenbank/publication/show/1339_FRITZ-Box-fur-Betrieb-am-IP-basierten-Telekom-Anschluss-einrichten/ Ein analoges Telefon lässt sich ebenfalls verbinden.
