New Glasfaser connection through Check24

Hi. I have recently booked a Glasfaser connection through Check24 for my new apartment (on 08.02.2026). But I haven't received any communication from Telekom via email/call. Is that normal? if not, do I have to do something else to trigger the registration process?

I get the keys to the new apartment on February 19th so I don't really have access to the physical mailbox at the moment.

      Try contacting Check24. As long as you haven't received a response from Telekom, they're your point of contact. Five days isn't a very long time, especially since February 8th was a Sunday.

      Don't count on getting your connection by February 19th either ;)

      Hey. thanks a lot for the reply. I will wait for the next week.

      Unfortunately, I couldn't find my Kundennummer (This is my first time applying for a telekom product). So, I won't be able to fill the profile-information immediately anyway.

      @Writwick Just my 5 cts:  Bad Timing. You will never have your line ready when moving in.

      Even if everything would work fine you should expect at least 3 months for a fibre connection.

      Do you already have a (Telekom) fibre-optic socket in your new apartment? In that case I'd be unsure if 3 month would actually be an expected wait.

      @staengfoenster I think the socket is already there. I was shown a box (with the Telekom logo iirc) with the Glasfaser-ID written on it.

      That’s a very good sign, nobody has to run any fibre then. Perhaps this may speed up things, but others would know better.

      Thanks a lot everyone for the help!

      I contacted Check24 yesterday and today I got emails from Telekom already. Apparently I already had my connection activated, when I entered the Glasfaser-ID.

      My move is still 2 days away and I still do not have a modem since I didn't order it through the Check24 portal. So, I won't be able to use it immediately.

      That being said, my check24 account email address is different from the email address that I used for the telekom account. And that resulted in the contract being attached to my old email address (I can see this in the glasfaser portal).

      Would it be recommended to get the mismatch fixed immediately?

      Hey, thank you very much for your feedback again. Is the old email address still stored with Check24? If so, you will need to change it there so that the email addresses are identical.

      Hi. I have already updated the email address at check24 but when placing the order it was still the old one. So, the email for the order didn't get updated. Should I contact check24 to update that?

      I checked again and the current situation is quite interesting:

      • My main telekom-id and the telekomhilft-id is <new-email-address>
      • I tried logging into telekom account using <old-email-address>, it doesn't work (no account exists)
      • At Check24, current email address is <new-email-address>
      • The Vertragsdaten for the connection in Check24 is set to <old-email-address> (no way to update this directly)
      • In the Glasfaser Kundencenter, it shows "Eingeloggt als <new-email-address>"
      • In the Glasfaser Kundencenter, under "Meine Daten" it shows <old-email-address> 
      • In the Glasfaser portal, under "Meine Daten" it shows <old-email-address>

      I apologize if this is confusing.
