Internet unstable in another room

Hello,

we have an the 50 mpbs connection in our home. the router is connect to the DSL port in one room and in the other room where I generally work I almost never get stable internet. It shows low coverage and keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. It is affecting daily work. Please reach out to me over call or on this chat -- we would like a technician to come check and/or reset the connection.

      This looks like it is not a problem with your ISP , more like you have a problem with your wifi connections. Am I right?

      I checked the connection and the line and signal look good on our end. I assume it is either an issue with the Wi-Fi signal or the transmitting power of the hardware. Modern router should not have issues providing Wi-Fi to the next room.

       

      A technician should be the last option. I suggest you check first if you have the same issues with an internet cable. A reset to factory settings is also an option. If you or your flatmate ave smart devices you can also unplug them and take the router 10 minutes of power. Afterwards plug the router back in again without the devices and check if the issues still occur.

      The router that I have is the Deutsche Telekom- Speedport Smart 3. I believe this is from your company itself. Is it new enough?

      @aastha_dave the Smart 3 is perfectly workable. If everything else fails you could think about an update to the Smart 4 or maybe a current model from AVM.
