Hybrid Internet Anschluss ohne DSL möglich?

Hallo liebe Community,

 

ich beziehe mein WLAN über Vodafone. Leider hatten die in letzter Zeit immer mal Probleme und Ausfälle. Sodass ich meine 100 MBit/s über Kabelanschluss nicht immer nutzen konnte.

Die Telekom hat in meinem Gebiet leider nichts ausgebaut und somit liegen hier nur max. 6 MBit/s als Download an. Jedoch gibt es die Möglichkeit einen hybriden Router / Tarif zu wählen, bei dem bis zu 300 MBit/s möglich wären.

 

Mein DSL Anschluss befindet sich im Flur. Da ich im Altebau wohne, sind die Wände relativ dick.

-Ich kenne mich jetzt bei der LTE Technik im Router überhaupt nicht aus. Ich würde jetzt vermuten, dass es wie am Handy ist.-

Da der Router dann im Flur stehen würde und ich da nur 2 Balken Empfang mit meinem Handy habe, würde ich vermuten, dass der Router dort auch einen schlechten Empfang hat...

Mein Handyvertrag habe ich auch direkt über die Telekom. Wenn ich mich mit meinem Handy im Flur dort hinstelle, wo der zukünftige Router stehen würde, dann hätte ich eine Downloadrate von knapp 80 MBit/s. Wenn ich ihn jedoch im Wohnzimmer am Fenster platziere schaffe ich eine Auslastung von über 180 MBit/s.

Kann ich den Router auch ohne DSL Anschluss im Fenster platzieren oder braucht er zwingend die DSL Verbindung? Ich möchte ungern  20 Meter Kabel durch das Wohnzimmer zum nächstmöglichen Fenster legen...

    Hi @simon.1 ,

    Es gibt hier 2 legale Möglichkeiten:

    Möglichkeit 1:

    Wenn Du die Festnetzleitung nicht (für Breitband) nutzen möchtest, dann kannst Du eine unserer quasi-stationären Mobilfunklösungen nehmen.

    Möglichkeit 2:

    Du lässt Dir die Telefondose von einem Elektriker oder von der Telekom an Deinen Wunschort verlegen und schließt den Router mit Hybrid entsprechend dort an.

    Und ist gilt auch zu beachten: Der Speed, welchen man mit dem Handy gemessen hat, ist dann nicht der, welchen man auch über Hybrid erhält. 50% davon sind da als Anhaltspunkt eher realistischer.

    Das wusste ich nicht... Dann hat es sich ja fast erledigt mit der Telekom. Schade. 😕

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
