Digitalisierungsbox Basic wo ist der DruckServer

Hi,

Habe seit gestern eine neue Digitalisierungsbox Basic da meine FB7360 seit der Umstellung auf Vectoring SYnc Probleme hat .

Nun würde ich gerne meinen alten Canon USB Drucker über die DigiBox zum Drucken zu bewegen. Laut Handbuch und auch Youtube Videos hat die DigiBox Basic im Expertenmodus die Funktion des DruckServers . Nur bei mir ist diese Funktion nicht vorhanden !

Firmware ist die neueste drauf (12.39.2.04.00 (ID: VMG8825-D70B-DE02V1F) . 

Was ist da los ? Hoffe jemand kann mir helfen

    Hallo @ccandeias17 ,

    ich weiß ja nicht welches Handbuch du gelesen und welche Videos du betrachtet hast, aber ich finde nirgends einen Hinweis,

    daß ein USB-Drucker an der Basic unterstützt wird.

    Ab Version  12.39.2.03.01 wird der Drucker-Server nicht mehr unterstützt.

    Verstehe das nicht . Was hat der Druck Server mit Sicherheit zu tun ? Gibt´s die Möglichkeit ältere Firmwares zu bekommen ?

    Sehe gerade das hinten auf dem Karton bei 2xUSB sogar Drucker steht . Ist doch ne Sauerei Funktionen raus zu löschen .

    Wann hast Du die Box denn gekauft? Und bei welchem Verkäufer?

     

    Du könntest die Fritzbox 7360 per LAN1 hinter die Digibox Basic klemmen und deren Druckerserver weiter verwenden.

    Ich würde grundsätzlich von irgendwelchen DruckServern abraten.
    Die Teile funktionieren meistens eher mäßig noch dazu funktionieren viele Druckerfunktionen dann auch mal nicht richtig.
    Lieber einen Drucker besorgen, der auch ein Netzwerkdrucker ist oder halt etwas besorgen, was einen den USB Anschluss virtuell an den PC ranholt.

    Warum du zur DigiBox gegriffen hast und nicht zu ner aktuellen Fritz!Box ist mir auch nen Rätsel.
