Apple Time Capsule als Router an FTTH-Dose anschließen

Hallo zusammen,

 

wie bereits in der Beschreibung erwähnt, möchte ich gerne wissen, ob ich eine Time Capsule direkt als Router an einer FTTH -Dose in meiner Wohnung nutzen kann, ohne ein weiteres Gerät wie Speedport/Fritzbox zwischen zu schalten. Der Anschluss wird noch in meine Wohnung gelegt, falls nötig würde ich mir deswegen noch einen Router zulegen müssen, da bisher ein Kabelanschluss genutzt wurde.

    Ohne VLAN-Tagging keine Verbindung, so einfach ist das.

     

    Die VLAN-ID 7 ist auch ohne Entertain bei den FTTH GPON-Anschlüssen der Telekom  zwingend notwendig, ohne geht es nicht! Wenn dann noch Entertain ( IPTV ) dazukommt gibt es zusätzlich auch noch eine Verbindung per VLAN-ID 8, alle mir bekannten GPON-Anschlüsse der Telekom laufen immer noch nicht über die neue BNG -Plattform wo dann (nach bisherigen Erkentnissen zumindest bei den xDSL basierten Anschlüssen, wie das bei GPON aussehen wird i.V.m. BNG weiß ich nicht) die VLAN-ID 8 entfällt und alles über die PPPoE-Verbindung @VLAN-ID 7 (aber auch hier ist das VLAN-Tagging eben zwingend erforderlich) übertragen wird.

     

    VLAN-Tagging mit der VLAN-ID 7 ist also eine Grundvoraussetzung. Nur bei ADSL-Anschlüssen (ohne Entertain) über die ältere AGS-Plattform war das VLAN-Tagging mit der VLAN-ID 7 noch optional, spätestens mit VDSL2, GPON oder BNG ist es aber nicht mehr optional.

     

    Und da die Router von Apple m.W.n. nach wie vor kein VLAN-Tagging WAN seitig unterstützen wird das so eben nichts.

Use of Utiq technology powered by your telecom operator
